A wallet that is the book

Be the book.

Event Contracts let two buyers mint a complete set with no seller. HOUSE lets a normal wallet quote both sides, rest the spread, and keep the next window tight.

What this is

DreamDEX already lets two opposite buyers mint a complete set. The docs say it. Nobody shipped a product that lets a normal wallet sit on both sides with zero inventory.

CLOBNeeds a seller

Someone has to be on the other side of your trade. HOUSE does not wait for that.

VaultNeeds a bankroll

Idle capital, share tokens, a protocol to babysit. That is a different product.

HOUSENeeds a wallet

Rest BUY_YES under mid and BUY_NO over it. Takers mint. You keep the spread.

Five moves. One window.

Fifteen minutes on the tape

How it works

01

Watch the window

A DreamDEX BTC 15m Event Contract is a clock plus a direction. HOUSE arms on the live window.

02

Rest Up below mid

PostOnly BUY_YES sits under the fair Up probability. You are a buyer, not a seller.

03

Rest Down above mid

BUY_NO is priced in YES terms, so the implied Up ask sits above mid. Spread is locked in.

04

Takers mint the pair

When both sides fill, the pool mints a complete set. No inventory to start. You keep the spread.

05

Flatten, then redeem

Sell leftovers while the window is open. After resolve, redeem settled payouts.

For the floor

Five criteria. One receipt.

Scored the way the hackathon scores it, with the proof printed beside it.

  1. Technical25%

Real SDK writes, gated on chain state.

Windows come from listLiveBinaryMarkets. Every write checks the on-chain status first. PostOnly BUY_YES and BUY_NO carry a mandatory expiry, prices and sizes are snapped to tick and lot, cancel and replace read open orders at chain head, IOC flatten, burnSet merge, redeem of Finalized markets. markets-sdk 0.29.0.

  2. Innovation20%

The mint-a-pair path is the product, not a feature.

Two opposite buyers cross with no seller and the pool mints the set. Most entries take the book. HOUSE makes it, from a normal wallet, with zero inventory, and merges the pair back to collateral to bank the spread. Not ec-maker: nothing is minted up front and no YES is sold.

  3. UX20%

One screen, one verb, honest risk.

Clock, BTC against the open, the book, your two quotes, sets held, spread kept, Flatten and Redeem. Locked, empty and void windows are handled. The last fifth of a window is never quoted into.

  4. Ecosystem impact20%

    Depth where DreamDEX is thin.

Every HOUSE quote is two resting orders one tick inside the market. Fills mint complete sets, so open interest grows instead of changing hands. A third-party bot already lifted a HOUSE quote on its own. The Node quoter keeps quoting after the demo ends. Builder fees are the path to a business.

  5. Demo15%

The loop ran on Shannon. The receipt is on the right.

One command rested both sides, a second wallet crossed both, five complete sets landed in HOUSE, the merge returned collateral, and the spread came out to the cent. Then the same loop on the desk with a browser wallet, two to three minutes.

Connect a Shannon wallet. Quote both sides. Keep the spread.
